When there was no graphitized petroleum coke, because there were relatively few scraps of graphite electrodes and the price was high, it not only increased the cost of steelmaking, but also restricted the development of the steel industry. In 2012, the output of graphite electrodes that can produce graphite crumbs in my country was 648,000 tons, and the output of 7% graphite crumbs was 45,360 tons. The amount of graphite crumbs is small, the cost is high, and the price is high. Therefore, graphitized petroleum coke has a good business prospect.
